AMAC Mid-Atlantic

We're happy to announce that the 2007 Student Project Fund Grants have been awarded.

AMAC Mid-Atlantic announces the 1^st SPF bi-annual Call for Proposals. All undergraduate students enrolled at Croatian universities are invited to apply for grants of up to $500, in support of their independent student research, scholarly, and outreach projects.

The deadline for receipt of all application materials (including the Letters of Recommendation) is Friday, May 25th 2007, 5pm EDT. Successful applicants will be notified by Friday, June 22nd 2007.

AMAC Mid-Atlantic is proud to announce the new AMAC MA website at http://www.amac-ma.org. The new site sports an improved look, enhanced usability, and a refreshed visual identity. We hope you will find the changes an improvement over our previous website.

On January 24th 2007, the Members of AMAC Mid-Atlantic voted unanimously to establist the Student Projects Fund, a fund chartered with a mission of providing grants to support independent undergraduate student projects at Croatian universities.

On the January 14th, 2007 Annual Meeting of the AMAC Mid-Atlantic membership, the members elected the new Board of Directors, President, Vicepresident, Treasurer and the Secretary for calendar year 2007.
